Tumble Weed is an ongoing series based on my experience growing up in the District of Columbia in order to capture aspects of the city’s life and culture before it goes away permanently due to gentrification. This book is the first installment of the series, capturing some of the most notably-aggressive, nuanced, and visceral memories in regards to Washington DC/DC Metro Area. This series is meant to act as documentation as well as to be an experimentation with visual-storytelling.
